In the Blood Money expansion for Red Dead Online you can pursue a lot of new criminal activities and earn the new commodity Capitale. We’ll tell you here how you can start Blood Money and play the new missions.

Red Dead Online – Start Blood Money: this is how it starts

In Blood Money you get to know Guido Martelli, the right-hand man of the Mafia boss Angelo Bronte. He wants to bring the capital back into his possession, a barter that is used for business within the Bronte family, but is now also in circulation outside the family. You should therefore fulfill various assignments for Martelli and bring back as much capital as possible.

There are no special requirements to start the new Blood Money content, but the game does not tell you where to start. You just have to go to Guido Martelli in Saint Denis, more precisely to the garden in Saint Denis. Here you can see Drop symbol with dollar signwhat marks you the starting point.

Start missions and find capitals

After the cutscene you first have to prove yourself and do various things Henchman of the Martelli ring track down. These give you jobs where you can get capital. These henchmen are also marked with drop symbols and dollar signs on the map. It is about:

• Anthony Foreman: Either at Radley’s House in Rhodes or at Doyle’s Tavern in northeast Saint Denis.
• James Langton: Can be found at his cabin on Lake Don Julio or northwest of MacFarlane’s Ranch in Hennigan’s Stead.
• Sean Macguire: You can find it in Tall Trees or Great Plans south of Blackwater.
• Joe: Located at Osman Grove, east of Emerald Ranch in New Hanover.

You can accept blood money missions from these NPCs. With these you have to raid convoys or rob camps. The rewards for these missions are money and gold nuggets, but no capital!

Important! You only get capitals as loot from killed opponents during the missions. You will also find capitals in chests or locked boxes during the mission in the corresponding area. So always search thoroughly all areas before completing the assignments. You don’t get Capitale as a general reward for completing assignments!

Also consider that you only 50x capitals at a time can carry with you.

Exchange capital for “Blood Money” opportunities

What can you do now with the accumulated capital? You can also exchange this with the Martelli henchmen to unlock so-called opportunities. These are complex missions, such as a train robbery in which you are supposed to steal a jewel.

There are a total of three of these opportunities, which you can tackle in different degrees of difficulty. The more difficult, the higher the rewards in the end.
