Star Infantry and other news from Slitherine -apkrig

You could already read about Stargate: Timekeepers and Terminator: Dark Fate on Vortex today, but that wasn’t all Slitherine presented in its own big presentation. The British publisher closed the year with the second Home of Wargamers Live Plus event, announcing a total of three new titles, news about previously introduced games and those released. Unfortunately, the announcement does not always accompany the new video, so somewhere we had to deal with older material.

Headquarters: World War II

Another newly announced game is the turn-based strategy Headquarters: World War II, which is to be released at the end of next year. The title will take us to the period after D-Day. We will enjoy the conflict from the perspective of the Allies and the German army. The authors attract in a realistic style and use Unreal Engine 4 from Epic. Headquarters: World War II targets PCs and consoles.

Modern Naval Warfare

Another big news is Modern Naval Warfare. This is a new generation of nuclear submarine simulator. Players will command Virginia-class submarines and a modern naval conflict awaits us. We will track enemies, avoid mines and attack without the enemy exposing us. The title is aimed at the PC, it should be released next year and its developers promise VR support.

Broken Arrow

The real-time tactical game Broken Arrow has been announced before. Now we have the first gameplay. The Steel Balalaika Studio team is working on the project and is attracted to the clash of the American and Russian armies, the modification of the units and the script editor, which will allow you to easily create your own battles. Broken Arrow is due out in 2022 and is only aimed at the PC.

Starship Troopers – Terran Command

The long and eagerly awaited Star Infantry comeback is recalled. A promising real-time strategy is planned for the first quarter of next year and we will fight with beetles on the planet Kwalasha. According to the publisher, the recent demo was downloaded by tens of thousands of players during the Steam Festival, and Aristocrats developers are receiving feedback to make further improvements. Dynamic music, for example, is worth attention, and a new video is focusing on the soundtrack. The game is aimed at the PC.

Distant Worlds 2

Slitherine also announced the release date of the 4X space strategy strategy Distant Worlds 2. It will be released on PC on March 10 next year.

Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector

The Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector turn-based strategy, recently released on PC, Xbox and PlayStation, will receive DLC Necrons in the first quarter of next year. Brings a new faction with unique units and heroes. However, as part of the free update, the game will also expand with a procedural campaign to increase replayability.

Panzer Corps 2

Panzer Corps 2 war strategy gets Pacific expansion. This will allow players to control American troops in the war against Japan and entice completely new elements of gameplay. The expansion will arrive during 2022.

Field of Glory II: Medieval

DLC is also heading to Field of Glory II: Medieval. The expansion of Storm of Arrow was inspired by the Hundred Years’ War and will be released on February 10.

Valor and Victory

Valor and Victory will receive DLC set on the Eastern Front and Stalingrad. He will arrive in the first half of next year.

Flashpoint Campaigns: Southern Storm

Flashpoint Campaigns: Southern Storm is a tactical war game set in the Cold War, specifically in the 1980s. The game will now offer more than 40 maps, 29 scenarios and five campaigns with the armies of the United States, France, Canada, West Germany, the Soviet Union, the GDR and Czechoslovakia. The game also attracts a new interface and will be released next year.
