The update brings 90 fps mode in PUBG Mobile

The Asus ROG Phone 2 came on the market last September. In addition to the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset and a large battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh, its advantage was the 6.59-inch AMOLED FHD + display. Its refresh rate was 120 Hz. Of course, this feature also requires support for the mobile game itself. Thanks to a new software update, owners of Asus ROG Phone 2 will now experience 90 fps mode in one of the most popular 3D mobile games, PUBG Mobile.

The game began supporting support in August exclusively on OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7T Pro, and OnePlus 7 Pro smartphones. It has been made available to other manufacturers since September 6, and Asus first brought it to this year’s ROG Phone 3. Fortunately, it doesn’t forget about its older smartphones, so its previous generation can enjoy it as well.

The update marked 17.0240.2012.65 also brings support for Kunai 3 gamepads or the December security patch. At the same time, VoLTE support for selected foreign operators was added and the problem with calls in the WhatsApp application was fixed.
