Spotify is launching a text display feature worldwide

The popular music player application, Spotify, is finally launching a real-time song lyrics track worldwide. Thanks to the novelty, you will be able to sing your favorite songs out of taste with a little help. So far, the platform has offered these conveniences only in some “designated” countries.

Text display seems to replace the “Behind the lyrics” feature. TheVerge website has released detailed information and how to use the new feature.

Where and how can you launch the text display feature in Spotify?

The well-known music company Musixmatch is responsible for the worldwide release of lyrics to the songs. Thanks to it, it is possible to display lyrics for more than 8 million songs while listening to music. The advantage is the use of texts on all platforms and devices on which the Spotify application is available.

According to Spotify, it will not make a difference between the listeners and will make the lyrics available to paid listeners, but also to those who have a free account. You can share songs on social networks using the sharing option. The platform says it plans to add lyrics to most of the songs in the app.

You can easily access individual texts on mobile phones. After opening the application, open the song that was currently playing or last played (at the bottom of the screen).

Just drag the screen up with the name and illustration icon. If nothing happens after trying to move the screen, it means that the currently listening song does not have its lyrics available. Text sharing is possible using the “Share” icon.

The computer application reportedly displays a small microphone icon when the currently playing song is opened. When opened, the text should appear automatically. In the newsroom, we have already seen this icon on some computers. If you are unable to find this icon, it may only be due to a recent launch of the feature on other devices, so we recommend watching Spotify. You may see a microphone icon soon.

The TV application can also display lyrics. If you point the cursor in the right corner, you will find the “texts” icon. When clicked, the option “allow texts” is displayed. Turning on the function starts the automatic display of individual services when the currently playing song is opened.

Since 2016, when Spotify last collaborated with Musixmatch, listeners can only view “Behind the lyrics.” This feature, when scrolling the screen, shows the story that inspired the artist to write the lyrics to the song.

Listeners will probably enjoy the display of catchy choruses and gods, which can also be used as karaoke. What is your opinion on adding an old-new feature? Write us your opinion below in the comments below this article.
