Spotify introduces video podcasts in the Netherlands

The video podcasts in Spotify were already available in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, and they are now also coming to the Netherlands. Here are the first ten major shows you can watch on Spotify.

Video podcasts on Spotify

Spotify’s mission is to provide artists and podcast makers with a platform on which they can be heard. In addition to the ears, the eyes are now also discussed on the streaming platform. From now on, artists and podcast creators can also show themselves on Spotify. The University of the Netherlands, HERO IN OWN STORY and De Bennies, among others, now offer their video podcast on Spotify.

Iris Enthoven of the podcast HERO IN OWN STORY thinks there is a need for video podcasts on Spotify: “With the special stories that are discussed in my podcast, it is very nice to have a face to the story. It becomes even more personal and in addition to feeling emotions, you can now also see it in the guest.”

Spotify is introducing the following new and existing shows as video podcasts on Spotify:

• The University of the Netherlands gives their story more power with short documentaries;
• In the Meyade Curfs Show Meyade Curfs, young entrepreneur and Gen-Z’er, goes in search of the role models that inspire his generation
• In Life Dreamers, Brokko with Korthom & Lotte, HERO IN OWN STORY, The Online Sisterhood, Daniel’s Twitch Talk Show and The Bennies table conversations between the hosts and their guests can be seen that bring the stories to life with images;
• Ed Struijlaart interviews in Guitar menthe podcast fellow guitarists in a dressed-up music studio, in which he asks them to play a piece of live music;
• GP Fans takes Formula 1 fanatics in a news studio setting through the latest F1 news.
