Spotify gives users new ‘Enhance’ function: discover music even better

Spotify has announced a new feature for Premium users. This is a playlist feature called ‘Enhance’. Making it easier to discover new music.

Spotify Enhance is a new feature for paying users of the music service. It’s a feature that comes in handy for those who are short of inspiration for a new playlist. The feature helps to create a playlist, showing suggestions for songs based on the tone and mood of the rest of the playlist. You can also discover new artists and songs in this way.

The Swedish music service explains how to use the feature;

• Tap “Enhance” at the top of the playlist to enable the feature.
• A recommendation now appears every two songs in the playlist
• Do you like the number? Tap the “+” icon next to each new song to add it to the playlist permanently.
• It’s an addition, not a replacement: the songs you add are never replaced, and you can turn off Enhance with a simple tap.

The feature will now be rolled out to Premium users in the Netherlands. In the coming month, every user should see the feature.
