Thanks to the new update, there is already multiplayer in ATS for everyone -apkrig

After the testing phase, American Truck Simulator is officially expanding with the eagerly awaited multiplayer and other news, the developers from the Prague studio SCS Software announced on their blog. On this occasion, the authors thanked all those involved in catching flies and provided feedback to the team. We will all benefit from this now.

The most important novelty of update 1.41 is undoubtedly the multiplayer mode Convoy, which we warned you about some time ago, when it started to be tested in public. Players can go to the roads together, either in public or private sessions, which until recently was only possible thanks to community modifications. Virtual drivers can look forward to synchronized traffic driven by artificial intelligence, time and weather.

Up to 8 truckers can join one multiplayer game at the moment, but the authors plan to increase their number in the future. However, because fashion is still being worked on, he is still deliberately sticking to the wall. Of course, it is possible to set various parameters for your own room and naturally you can also browse and filter the sessions of others according to your preferences. Anyone can create their own multiplayer game, and they can communicate directly in the game in three different ways. The radio is hidden under the X button, Q is used for fast messages and Y is a text chat.

The authors are well aware that there will be a great demand for multiplayer, but they point out that players still have to reckon with certain restrictions. User modifications do not work in Convoy mode at this time. Cars controlled by artificial intelligence can disappear when one of the players disconnects. The lifting of bridges is not yet synchronized and they now only have a starting position. Steam invitations only work via Steam overlay. The developers are, of course, looking forward to the feedback, and honestly I’m already starting to make plans for a common online stream.

However, the list of new features in update 1.41 does not end there. The authors announced a Christmas reskin at Christmas, a state that has already appeared in the basic game. After all, we have already written about it on the Vortex. Along with the update comes the first improved version of the intended series of reskins. Probably the most significant novelty are the new agricultural control stations at the state border. Their purpose is to detect potential pests.

When transporting goods to California, you must undergo a special inspection to determine that they are not infested with invasive species and have proper documentation. The whole process works similarly to weight control. When you arrive at the border, based on what you are driving, you will be notified of a tour at one of the checkpoints. Once you pass, then you can continue on your way.

However, the appearance of the whole game is constantly improving and this will also be reflected in California. We will see it on the surface of the roads and with unique markings. The photo mode is definitely worth mentioning. According to SCS, he knows very well how players love taking photos in the game and that he will spend a lot of time creating the perfect shot. This includes having to wait for the right light and weather. The developers therefore decided to go a little against the community and prepared a new feature to save fans some time.

Thanks to the new time and weather options in the photo mode, players can easily adjust the mentioned parameters by simply dragging the slider and buttons. The change will take effect immediately and the team is already looking forward to what nice new pictures the virtual truckers will take thanks to that.
