Sponsored – This is how you stay fit as a (future) mother | kek mama

1. Feet off the floor

Exercise during your pregnancy is good for you: it keeps you fit and reduces the risk of ailments. Is the gym a barrier with your round belly? A bike ride, walking around during telephone conversations or an extra block also help to get those 30 minutes of exercise a day. Or work out with other pregnant mothers – it’s so much fun and you motivate each other.

2. Thirst quencher

Important: drink enough water during your pregnancy – it’s good for you and your baby. As an adult you lose about 2.5 liters of water per day: for example through your breathing, sweating or by urinating. So supplement. If you are pregnant, you have to add another part for your baby. SPA water can be drunk all day long thanks to the low amount of minerals. Provide regular refueling moments with a large glass of water. After every toilet stop, before every meal. Also distribute bottled water throughout your home. That way you make it easy on yourself.

3. Share together

Did you know that after 25 weeks your baby in your belly consists of 90% water? Even at birth, the kidneys and the digestive system are not yet fully grown. Because you and your baby really share everything during pregnancy, it is wise to pay close attention to what you eat and drink. Minerals, for example, can put unnecessary strain on your organs and that of your baby. SPA® Reine is one of the least mineralized waters in Europe, so you can safely drink it.

4. Pretzels

It is also better to avoid salt (sodium) during pregnancy. It causes your body to retain moisture. Especially if you suffer from swollen hands or ankles, it is best to choose low-salt water and low-salt meals. Tip: you can easily replace salty snacks with candy vegetables with a tasty yoghurt dip with fresh herbs. Healthy and still a nibble moment.
