What you can do during the Campina Open Farm Days? A lot of. A lot. In any case, there are no less than 72 dairy farmers throughout the Netherlands who open their yards to the public. They give you a tour and tell you about the ins and outs of the farm. Where does dairy come from, how is it made and how does it end up in your glass of milk or container of yogurt? You will also find out what the farmers are doing in terms of sustainability.
From feeding cows to puzzling with solar panels
Is that all? Well, there is much more to do on this great day. You can fold windmills, meet cows, play the cow feeding game, puzzle with solar panels, blindly taste all kinds of goodies, get your face painted, play galaxy racing or farm bingo. There is a lot to learn during the Campina Open Farm Days, especially because there are signs everywhere with all kinds of interesting facts. About cows, for example.
