Not only does your body get an energy boost, you also feel saturated for longer and you are less inclined to reach for that mountain of chocolate again within a few minutes. Nutritious and healthy doesn’t have to be boring at all: how about a savory pancake with salmon and cottage cheese? Delicious, full of protein and you can make it in no time too.

Ingredients

  • XXL Nutrition Delicious Pancake Mix, flavour: Original
  • Skimmed milk or other milk of your choice
  • 100 grams of smoked salmon fillet slices
  • 50 grams cottage cheese
  • XXL Nutrition Perfect Cooking Spray
  • 5 grams of chives
  • 10 grams of pine nuts

Preparation

  1. For one pancake, mix 2 scoops (50 g) of Delicious Pancakes with 100 ml of skimmed milk or another type of milk of your choice in a shaker.
  2. Spray a frying pan with the cooking spray and wait until the pan is hot.
  3. Pour the pancake mixture into the pan and move the pan back and forth so that the batter is evenly distributed.
  4. When the top of the pancake is dry and the bottom is golden brown, turn the pancake over.
  5. Fry for another 2 minutes on this side until it is also golden brown.
  6. Carefully scoop the pancake onto a plate with a spatula.
  7. Spread the pancake with the hüttenkäse, snip some chives over it and top the pancake with the smoked salmon fillet. Add some pine nuts as a topping and you’re done.

Yes, that sounds quite paradoxical when you have children. Still, there are ways to get more sleep. First of all, go to bed when your kids are asleep. It may seem boring to go to bed at seven and it really doesn’t have to be every night, but one good night’s sleep does wonders for your overall state of fitness. What also helps: avoid screens just before bedtime. As nice as it is to watch TV or scroll through your Insta feed, the blue light from your screen can disturb your sleep. Instead, play a game, take a bath, read a book or listen to (quiet) music. And grab that sleep as soon as you can.

Move

The gym, you either like it or you don’t. But you don’t have to immediately dive into the nearest gym to get some exercise anyway.
