A new smartphone from Samsung has surfaced in the rumor circuit. After we have already seen several models from Samsung, it is now the Galaxy A73 that comes back in renders. We will also find out some specifications.

Samsung Galaxy A73 surfaced

Good news for those eagerly awaiting a new batch of Galaxy A smartphones from Samsung. The manufacturer has plans on the shelf for a new Galaxy A73. It will of course serve as the successor to the Galaxy A72. The new phone has surfaced in the rumor circuit, courtesy of OnLeaks, the leaker who has published renders of the new device. The images have been compiled on the basis of the information known to date.

The Samsung Galaxy A73 will be equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution. This should provide a refresh rate of at least 90Hz, although some rumors speak of 120Hz. Admittedly; in practice you really don’t see the difference between them. On the back, the Galaxy A73 gets a quad-camera setup, with a 108 megapixel main camera. We shouldn’t expect an Exynos chipset from Samsung, as the phone is reportedly getting a Snapdragon 750G chipset, along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However, even more memory variants may appear.

Android 12 is also on board the A73, along with the new One UI skin of course. The battery capacity of the phone is 5000 mAh and it could be charged with 33W. With a thickness of 7.6 millimeters, the device is remarkably thin. The Galaxy A73 should be waterproof and will reportedly get a price of around 400 euros. It is not yet entirely clear when we will see the new smartphone. We are talking about the second quarter of 2022.
