Sony is rolling out Android 11 for Xperia 1 II in the Netherlands

Sony is rolling out a new update for the Xperia 1 II in the Netherlands. The manufacturer’s high-end smartphone will receive the update to Android 11, along with a slew of new features and improvements.

Xperia 1 II gets Android 11

Android 11 is now available for the Sony Xperia 1 II. The high-end device from the manufacturer is updated with the new Android version, and comes with a series of improvements. By default, Google has already provided Android 11 with various optimizations and new functions. Think of more privacy settings, chat bubbles, fast operation for your smart home devices via the power menu and improved notifications.

On top of these improvements, Sony has also added features. There are new wallpapers, BatteryCare has been refined with more options, you can take a screen recording (video) directly from the notification bar and 5G / 4G can now be on standby at the same time. The camera has also been further improved. You can now film at 120fps in 4K HDR and with the new MR mode in the Photo Pro app you can save frequently used options.

The Android 11 update for the Sony Xperia 1 II is now being rolled out, also in the Netherlands. If it is there for your device, you will receive a notification.
