Sony is reducing the price for all players for a short time
It doesn’t matter whether it’s Essential, Extra or Premium: Such a PS Plus annual subscription is quite expensive. All the better that Sony has decided to significantly reduce the price during the Days of Play. And best of all: This time really all players can save – and not just new customers.
PS Plus 25 percent cheaper: Sony starts discount campaign
On June 2, 2023 it’s that time again: Sony officially starts it Days of Play event, where PlayStation players can expect big discounts. According to Sony, both PlayStation games and accessories, and even PC games, should be available in time from June 2, 2023 at 00:01 to June 12, 2023 at 23:59 be on offer (source: PlayStation Blog).
The discount campaign for the PS Plus subscription should probably be one of the most sought-after offers. Because anyone who extends their annual subscription during this period – or takes out a new one – save 25 percent on purchase. The offer applies to all three PS Plus categories: Essentials, Extra and Premium. The prices for the annual subscriptions during this period are as follows:
- PS Plus Essentials: 44.99 euros instead of 59.99 euros
- PS Plus extras: 74.99 euros instead of 99.99 euros
- PS Plus Premium: 89.99 euros instead of 119.99 euros

PS Plus discount even for shorter subscriptions – under one condition
Who is also already a PS Plus subscriber and times get a taste of a higher PS Plus level for a short time also receives a discount of 25 percent when taking out a one-month or three-month subscription. However, if you want to stay at your current level, you will continue to pay full price for the short-term subscriptions.
