Solve a snitch in your hand

In the side mission “A Snitch in the Hand” you have to solve two puzzles. In the following we will show you the solutions and how to open the respective doors.

Start “A Snitch in the Hand”.

The side mission “A Snitch in the Hand” belongs to the quest line of Poppy Sweeting. As soon as you complete Poppy’s first side quest, further missions for her relationship story will gradually unlock. So if you follow Poppy’s quest line, you will automatically get the side mission “A Snitch in the Hand”. Once you complete it, you’ll get the Best Beast Friends trophy.

Important note: To complete the mission, you need the Glacius spell. All other required spells, such as Accio, Incendio and Levioso, are automatically owned by you through the main story.

During the side mission, you must solve two puzzles to progress. If you want to save yourself the detailed description, you can following video the respective solution of both puzzles see. Below we go into more detail about the possible solutions.

Solve entrance puzzles with columns

In order to solve the entrance puzzle with the pillars you first have to Place the moonstone in the center pillar. Then you see that the two symbols on the Door light: the sun and a kind of “key” symbol with a dot in the middle.

After that you have to correctly place the two surrounding columns with Accio. The sun pillar must be placed opposite the sun symbol. The moon pillar must be drawn opposite the “key” symbol with the dot. The door then opens.

Solve wall puzzles

A little later you reach a supposed dead end. It’s a room with a big tree and you’re in front of a huge wall. In front of the wall you can see two round platforms on the floor. To this Platforms you have to place the right cubes first.

For the left platform you just have to turn left. At the top, next to the tree, you will see a small cube. Use Accio to pull the cube onto the platform.

To place the second cube on the right platform, you must first bring the box from the left side to the right side, preferably with Wingardium Leviosa. To get to the gallery above, you have to click on the Apply box of Levioso. Then jump onto the crate and up onto the gallery. On the Gallery is the second cube. Now bring the cube to the right platform.

As You now have to use the last one on the right die Glacius and on the left die Incendio or Confringo. After that, the wall dissolves and you can continue.
