smart watch with two screens
TicWatch has announced the Pro X smartwatch with Wear OS. It comes with two screens, and it closely resembles the recently announced TicWatch 3 Pro. The main improvements are in the design and the second screen.
TixWatch Pro X
Mobvoi has introduced a new TicWatch Pro X smartwatch in China, Gizmochina knows. Looking at the specs of the Wear OS watch, we see a lot of similarities with the TicWatch 3 Pro GPS announced this summer, but there are some areas for improvement that are promising.
We see that the watch has been given a new design that looks a bit more stylish. Product images show the TicWatch Pro X with a brown leather strap. Like the TicWatch 3 Pro, it comes with two screens: a 1.39-inch AMOLED panel with an FSTN LCD screen on top. Most importantly, this second screen displays colors for the first time, and that also contributes to the design of the TicWatch Pro X.
45 days battery
The two screens work in tandem with the watch’s Durbale and Smart modes. In Smart mode, the AMOLED screen works, and the TicWatch Pro X can already use a full-fledged Wear OS watch with apps and smart functions. It will then last up to four days on one battery charge. In the Durable mode, the LCD screen works together with a more energy-efficient chip that makes the watch work. It then lasts for 45 days, and the watch can still monitor your heart rate, sleep and steps.
If we look at other specifications, we only see similarities with the TicWatch 3 Pro. The Pro X version works with Qualcommm’s Snapdragon Wear 4100 chipset. There is 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. It has an SPO2 blood oxygen meter, an NFC, eSIM, a heart rate sensor, GPS, a housing that is IP68 water resistant. a speaker and microphone. At the moment, the watch does not yet work with Wear OS 3, and it is not known when the update will be available.
Prices and availability
The TicWatch X Pro has only been announced in China for the time being, but there is a chance that this watch, possibly under a different name, will also come to the Netherlands and Belgium. The watch would cost 393 euros with our VAT included.
