Smart glasses or bluetooth headphones?
Brand Razer specializes in the production of gaming hardware and its Razer Phone smartphones have practically created a segment of gaming smartphones. According to the portal GSMarena now comes to the accessories market Razer Anzuwhich resembles smart glasses, but is closer to bluetooth headphones.
The sound is transmitted to the ears directly from the glasses frames
Manufacturer Raez presents Razer Anzu as smart glasses on its website. However, their properties are closer to audio sunglasses from the Bose brand, which specializes in the production of sound equipment. The Razer Anzu has two speakers that project sound from the frames toward your ears. Thanks to this, the ears are free and you can react to your surroundings.
The audio output has a latency of 60 milliseconds, which will please even computer game players. The spectacle frames are wide enough for the speakers, and the design may not suit everyone. The more angular design is for men and the more round is designed for women. There are two sizes of glasses to choose from (SMALL / MEDIUM and LARGE). The body of the glasses has water resistance IPX4 certification, so it should not cause them problems or rain.
They are used for calls, listening to music and also playing computer games
Thanks to the Bluetooth interface, you can stream music from your smartphone to the glasses and, thanks to the built-in microphone, you can also make phone calls. The glasses will also be used for video calls. Answering calls, controlling music or voice assistant on your smartphone is secured using touch controls on the frames. It is the same on both sides, so you can use your more dominant hand.
Razer Anzu are charged via POGO pins and should last to play music for 5 hours. The glasses themselves are polarized and block 99% of UVA / UVB radiation. At the same time, they reduce the intensity of blue light when watching displays by 35%. They are thus suitable for people working with computers, programmers or computer players for a long time.
The price of Razer Anzu smart glasses is 210 euros. The manufacturer allows, for an additional fee of 35 euros, to fit prescription glasses with a prescription. It works directly with the manufacturer of dioptric glasses Lensabl, which now even offers a 15% discount on glasses through the discount coupon RAZER15. You can buy Razer Anzu glasses directly on the manufacturer’s official website.
