It was a blast last night at The Met Gala 2023. The red carpet of the annual fashion party turned black and white and turned out to be the place to announce a pregnancy again. This year not one, but two celebrities proudly showed off her new pregnant belly.
This year’s annual fashion party was all about the German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, but it turned out to be the place to show off the pregnant belly. That’s how tennis icon Serena Williams revealed her baby bump on the red carpet. Shortly before the gala, Williams shared a photo on her Instagram about her pregnancy. She did so with a photo and the text: ‘Anna Wintour invited the three of us to the Met Gala’. It is her second child.
Serena was in good company. Karlie Kloss also announced that she is pregnant. The supermodel is pregnant with her second child. At Vogue she shared, “This is my first time sharing the news, so it feels very special.” She gave birth to her first child, Levi, in March 2021.
We have known for some time that Rihanna is pregnant. But she also proudly showed her belly. Despite her body being covered by a cape completely covered with flowers (of five hundred petals!), her pregnant belly looked beautiful. A special dress with a mysterious tint.
