Sending large files with WhatsApp: WeTransfer can pack like this
WhatsApp comes with a number of new features for forwarding large files. You no longer have to depend on websites such as WeTransfer to transfer large files.

Forward files with WhatsApp
Previous beta versions of WhatsApp already showed that you could now also send large files in the chat service. The current limit of files is only 100MB, but that has been increased to 2GB (2000MB) in beta. This makes it a lot easier to send large video and photo files to your friends or family with your iPhone, among other things.
However, this isn’t the only file forwarding feature currently being tested in WhatsApp’s beta. Recently, a progress percentage has also surfaced when you send files. This way you can see exactly how long it will take before the file is sent.
With the Telegram app, it has been possible for some time to send large files via the messaging app. You will immediately see how long it will take to send the file.
WhatsApp for iPad and Apple Watch
Forwarding large files in WhatsApp is a feature that users have been waiting for for a long time. The maximum file size of 100MB is really outdated.
It is a pity that there is still no official WhatsApp app for the iPad. In an interview with The Verge Will Cathcart told WhatsApp that he’s “very eager” to make an iPad app. Unfortunately, there is no concrete date for the release of such an app. Cathcart does realize that many people have been waiting for it for a long time.

Also for Apple Watch there is still no real app for WhatsApp. There is now an alternative that allows you to read WhatsApp messages on the Apple watch. But support for forwarding (large) files or photos is also not available in this alternative to WhatsApp.
