Send Christmas greeting WhatsApp to multiple people with one tap
Do you want to send several people a nice Christmas wish via WhatsApp? There is a way to do that quickly. By creating a mailing list in WhatsApp, you don’t have to copy your Christmas wish, but you can send your message to multiple contacts at once.

Christmas wish WhatsApp via mailing list
With a mailing list, people receive your text message in an individual chat, so it’s like sending them a personalized Christmas wish. It is therefore not visible to the recipient that you also share the message with many others.
To send your WhatsApp Christmas wish to several people at once, do the following:
- Open WhatsApp and go to the ‘Chats’ tab;
- Tap on ‘Mailings’ at the top;
- Choose ‘New list’ and select the contacts;
- Tap Create.
WhatsApp will now open a new chat window. From here you can tap a Christmas wish and send it in bulk to all the recipients you just selected. Do you want to check to whom the message is sent? Tap “Messages” at the top. You can add extra contacts or remove someone via ‘Edit list’.
But be aware: only the people who have added your phone number to Contacts will receive your message. WhatsApp does this to prevent spam. You can select a maximum of 256 recipients per mailing list. If you want to send more people a Merry Christmas, you can create a new mailing list.
Send nice WhatsApp Christmas wish
Need some inspiration for sending a nice Christmas wish? For example, create your own Memoji with Santa hat, which you send as a sticker in WhatsApp. There is also an app that allows you to add a picture of yourself wearing a Santa hat.
And of course gifs are always a good idea. To do this, tap the plus icon in the bottom left of a chat and choose ‘Photo and video library’.
