Sander Schimmelpennick becomes a father: ‘I’m just ready’

Sander Schimmelpennick and his Swedish girlfriend Lotta are expecting their first child together. This makes the presenter and journalist known in the Self podcast.
“I have a highlight,” says Sander to co-host and friend Jaap Reesema. “Because I’m going to be a father.” No surprise for Jack. “I knew that, but the listener didn’t. And I think it’s wonderful!”
Sander is very much looking forward to the arrival of the little one. “We have been together for seven years and then it is really nice to take the next step. It is also great for your personal development. I’m just ready for it and looking forward to it.”
The journalist immediately reveals what it will be: a girl!
