Samsung’s flagship unveiled in a leak
After a particularly prolific year 2020, with the launch of the Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20 or the Galaxy Z Fold 2, the eyes of Samsung fans are now turning to the Galaxy S21, the next generation of the manufacturer’s star range. While these smartphones have still not been officially presented, rumors about them are rife.
After the publication of the first 3D renderings of the Galaxy S21 made by the Dutch from the LetsGoDigital site, it is the turn of the renowned leaker Pigtou to distribute 3D designs of the Galaxy S21 +. To achieve these renderings, the leaker relied on the various information that has filtered through the device so far. Thus, the dimensions adopted are taken directly from the factory specifications, the device therefore measures 161.55 x 75.6 x 7.86 mm.
For comparison, the Galaxy S20 + was slightly smaller (161.9 x 73.7 x 7.8mm). Anyway, these dimensions are in line with previous rumors that a 6.8 ”120Hz screen would be featured on the Galaxy S21 +. As a reminder, the Galaxy S20 + and S20 Ultra 5G offered 6.7 and 6.9 inch panels.
On the back of the device, the leaker has decided to materialize the new design envisaged by Samsung for the photo set. So finished this bulky and rather awful photo block, Samsung would have opted for a new look, reminiscent of the Terminator. In any case, this is the opinion of several American editors. This time, the group of sensors goes pretty well with the rest of the shell, and we should finally be able to put the smartphone flat on a table, without it being wobbly.
As a reminder, the technical characteristics of the Galaxy S21 were leaked on the Net on November 16, 2020. The opportunity to discover that the smartphone could carry a Snapdragon 875, the latest Qualcomm processor engraved in 5nm. In addition, compatibility with the S-Pen would be announced. Something to worry about about the survival of the Galaxy Note line.
The official presentation of the Galaxy S21 is scheduled to take place on January 14, 2021. Of course, this date, like these designs, should be taken with a grain of salt. None of this information has been confirmed by Samsung, and it is advisable to wait for a statement from them before abandoning the conditional.
