Samsung shares own details about December security update; 13 patches

This week, Google released its December security update. Manufacturers are getting started with this, or are already working on this in full swing. Now Samsung shares which of its own patches it has implemented.

Samsung patches in December update

Samsung has shared the details about its December security update. This update already contains no less than 81 patches from Google, manufacturers are adding to that. The brands usually also add their own patches, with fixes for brand-specific issues. We now also see this at Samsung, which talks about 13 of its own fixes for the December patch.

Not all fixes are for all devices. For example, we see a patch for devices with a Qualcomm processor. There is also a specific patch for devices with an Exynos chipset. In the overview we also see fixes for vulnerabilities in the phone app, the settings screen and a few other things.
