Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 doubles storage capacity to 512 GB
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will probably be available in a variant with 512 GB storage. With this, Samsung doubles the storage capacity of the predecessor. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 was only available in a 128 GB and 256 GB variant. The possible prices of the new Flip devices from Samsung have also been leaked.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 gets more storage memory
Little by little, more information is released about the new foldable smartphones from Samsung. For example, last May we already announced that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 would receive a small ‘fast charging upgrade’. The new devices from the Galaxy Z Fold series from Samsung could be charged with a capacity of 25W. This is slightly faster than the 15W with which their predecessors could be charged.
Earlier this year, we got on with the news that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is likely to get a camera upgrade. The device would probably get the same cameras as the Samsung Galaxy S22(+). In addition, the hinge of the device will also be renewed. This hinge will have a newly designed mechanism that works via one hinge. The current mechanism works with two hinges. This should, among other things, result in a more durable and lighter design.
Storage capacity up to 512 GB
Now even more information is added. SamMobile reports on their website that they can confirm that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be available in a variant with 512 GB storage. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 will even go up to 1TB.
They expect that the prices of the Z Flip 4 would be the same as those of the Z Flip 3. The device will therefore have to be available from 999 euros. This price applies to the variant with 128 GB of storage. The variants with 256 GB and 512 GB of storage should cost EUR 1049 and EUR 1099 respectively.
