Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 available: record number of pre-orders

Samsung has put two new foldable smartphones on the shelves; they are the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4. You can buy both models starting today. Samsung speaks of a record number of pre-orders that have been placed for the devices.

The new Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 is already available in our country; the two other products that were shown during Galaxy Unpacked are now also for sale in the Netherlands. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 can now be found in Dutch stores. It is the latest generation of foldable smartphones and these are fully equipped.

According to Samsung, the two devices have reached a record number of pre-orders together, although the company does not mention any figures. However, during the pre-order period, the number of ordered devices would be 64 percent higher than last year during the pre-sale. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 was the most popular during pre-order, with a 65 percent share; in 35 percent of the cases the choice fell on the Z Fold 4.

Just briefly in a row; what do you get for your money with the two smartphones? You open the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 like a book, and you also have a 6.2-inch full screen at your disposal on the front. Folded open, you have a 7.6-inch AMOLED screen with a Quad-HD+ resolution. You can also use the device in combination with the S Pen, so that you can quickly take notes, for example. Behind the screen is a 10 megapixel camera, but there is also a triple camera with 50 MP main camera on the back.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is more compact, which you open like a clamshell phone from the past. On the outside you have a small screen with which you can perform various actions, but you can also immediately see which notifications and notifications have arrived. When you have the device open in front of you, there is a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen. There is a dual camera with 12 megapixels and a 3700 mAh battery with 25W charging. Just like with the Fold, you still have to buy the charger yourself if you want to take advantage of this speed.
