Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 and Active 2 get new update Watch 5 functions
Two smartwatches from Samsung are updated with a new update. There is an update for the Galaxy Watch 3 and the Watch Active 2, with features from the Galaxy Watch 5 coming to the older models.

In the Netherlands, a new update is being rolled out for two smartwatches from Samsung. The manufacturer has started the update machine for the Galaxy Watch 3 and the Galaxy Watch Active 2. The news follows after the brand previously announced that various functions of the Watch 5 would come to the older models. The Galaxy Watch 4 was previously provided with new functions, so now it’s the turn of the Galaxy Watch 3 and Watch Active 2.

Fijke informs us that her Watch Active 2 has received the update, an update with a size of almost 52MB. Two new watch faces have been added; a Pro analog and the dial with color gradient. There is also an updated indicator with daily activity and there is a recording function for the sleep mode, where snoring can be detected, in combination with your smartphone.
The update is now being rolled out to the two smartwatches. You will receive a notification if you can retrieve it. Incidentally, nothing has changed in terms of software; Tizen OS 5.5.0.2 remains the version active for the smartwatches.
