Three Samsung devices are updated with a new update. There is good news for the owners of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, for which Android 11 is being rolled out. In addition, there is a new security update for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 +.

Galaxy Tab S5e gets Android 11

The Samsung Galaxy S5e will now receive an Android update in the Netherlands and Belgium. The tablet that was marketed with Android 9 Pie, now gets its second Android update to Android 11. It is striking that the 4G model already received the update; the WiFi variant will get it from now on, Patty says. Along with Android 11, the tablet will also be updated with One UI 3.1 and March security update.

Thanks to Android 11 and One UI 3.1, you can take advantage of new features and improvements. Think privacy optimizations with more options. Furthermore, the notifications have been improved, just like the media player. Users get further improved cloud integration and eye protection. Also in the interface and camera app (minor) interface changes have been made.

Galaxy S9 and S9 +

Both devices from the Galaxy S9 series are also offered a new update. Both the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9 + will be updated to security update in May 2021. This is striking, since Samsung announced in April that it will no longer give the Galaxy S9 a monthly update. Together with the new security patch, the devices will also receive improved Quick Share.
