Samsung Galaxy S9, S20 FE and Tab S6 all get August update

At Samsung, they are speeding up with the rollout of a new security update. The August patch is now available for the Galaxy S9 series, the Galaxy S20 FE and the Galaxy Tab S6.

Multiple Samsung devices are updated with a new security update. Recently, the latest security update has already appeared for several devices, and now this is also the case for two other devices from Samsung.

We’ll start with the Galaxy S20 FE. Both the 4G and 5G version will be updated with a new update; August security update. Marianne says that the 263.50MB major update is now offered with the Galaxy S20 FE. An update of 206.82MB is ready for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, Jan informs us. As with the S20 FE, no new features or changes appear to have been made.

After the last update was rolled out for the Samsung Galaxy S9 series in May, it is now time for a new update. The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ both receive the August security update. In addition, it is clear from the changelog that Samsung also promises improvements for the overall stability of functions. No details or explanations are given about this.
