Samsung Galaxy S21 and Z Flip receive July update; major update for Galaxy A52

A new update is ready for the devices from the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. Just like for the Galaxy Z Flip, the July security update is ready. Furthermore, we see a new update coming in on the Galaxy A52, but what is wrong with that?

Galaxy S21 and Z Flip get July patch

The three smartphones from the Galaxy S21 series are updated with a new security patch. Pieter informs DroidApp that his smartphone is being updated with the latest security update available for Android. The Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+ and the S21 Ultra will be updated with security update July 2021. Looking at the changelog, we see that the performance of the camera has improved. It is not discussed in more detail exactly which changes have been made here.

In addition to the fact that this update is available for the Galaxy S21 series, the Galaxy Z Flip will also receive the update in the Netherlands.

Galaxy A52

We also receive reports that a major update is ready for the 5G version of the Samsung Galaxy A52. Jeremy says that his Galaxy A52 5G saw an update of almost 1GB in size. The changelog only states that the security of the device has been improved. However, no new security patch has been added. It remains very unclear what exactly has changed. It seems that Samsung has made security improvements behind the scenes. If you notice any changes, be sure to let us know!
