Samsung Galaxy S20 series is first series to receive December update

Samsung is rolling out a new update for the Galaxy S20 series. The three models in this series were previously updated with the update to Android 13, now the latest security patch is ready.

December update for Galaxy S20 series

The Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra will now be updated with the latest update available for Android. We already wrote about the December security update today, and it is now available for the three models of the S20 series, Theo informs us. Not only does the December update from Google already contain dozens of improvements and patches against vulnerabilities; Samsung itself has also added patches to this so that the security level is raised again.

The update brings no further new features or changes. In total, this is an update of approximately 184MB in size. We expect the update for other devices in the near future. When you can download the December update, you will receive a notification on your smartphone.
