Samsung Galaxy S20 FE: Android 11 global rollout is now underway
Samsung has started rolling out One UI 3 for the Fan Edition of the Samsung Galaxy S20. Russian owners of the popular device will receive the update first.

Samsung announces its new One UI 3 software for a whole range of Galaxy devices: “The rollout starts on the Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 Plus and Galaxy S20 Ultra and the upgrade will also be available on the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra, Z Fold 2, Z Flip, Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus, Fold and S10 series. The Galaxy A series will also follow in the first half of 2021. ”
Samsung has already started rolling out Android 11 for the S20 series and Note 20 series, and now the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE follows, Sammobile reports. Russian owners of the device will receive an update with build number G780FXXU1BTL1. This update installs the new One UI 3 software, which is based on Android 11, on their phone.
New in One UI 3
One UI 3 provides even more simplicity, according to Samsung. Within the interface, the functions you use most – such as the start screen, lock screen, notifications and Quick Panel – are visually highlighted. New effects, such as dim / blur for notifications, ensure that you can focus quickly and the new widgets keep the home screen clear.
One UI 3, which is based on Android 11, also comes with improved zoom on photos and better auto focus and auto exposure. In addition, the Gallery app will be updated so that you can find the right photos faster.
You can also map your digital habits in One UI 3.0 and adjust them if necessary. This way you can quickly see how your screen time compares from week to week and you can decide to put your phone away more often.
