Samsung Galaxy S10 series gets November update; Motorola Edge October 20 Patch

A new update is being rolled out to the devices in the Galaxy S10 series from Samsung. The manufacturer is rolling out the latest security update. There is also good news for owners of the Motorola Edge 20.

Galaxy S10 gets update

The three Samsung devices in the Galaxy S10 series can now receive a new update. The smartphone manufacturer will roll out security update for the Galaxy S10, the Galaxy S10+ and the Galaxy S10e in November 2021. This is the most recent security patch for Android and was officially released a few days ago. On top of Google’s patches, Samsung’s own patches have also been added.

Frank says that his Samsung Galaxy S10 has received the update to November. As far as we know, this brings no further changes, so only the new security update. The size of the update is 148.88MB.

Motorola Edge 20

The Motorola Edge 20 will also receive an update, Richard tells DroidApp. Security update October 2021 is available for this smartphone. No changes here either, just the new security patch.

The updates will be offered from now on. When it is available, you will receive a notification on your device.
