Samsung Galaxy Buds2 officially: A capable sequel to the popular series
The popular series of Bluetooth wireless headphones is currently seeing another addition. In addition to the new Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 folding smartphones, Samsung has also introduced the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 headphones.
These come on the market as the smallest and lightest headphones from the Galaxy Buds series. They weigh only 5 grams and their dimensions are 17 x 20.9 x 21.1 mm. UIt has long been speculated about them and more information has been put into circulation, including pictures of their design or the expected selling price. Today, however, we know the key information, first-hand.

A proud successor to the family
It should be said at the outset that the new Samsung Galaxy Buds2 also has active noise cancellation (ANC), even of high quality. Artificial intelligence is also involved, which identifies disturbing sounds and filters them out. As a result, the surrounding traffic should be reduced by up to 98%.
Again, a two-way speaker is used, similar to the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro. We will also find the well-known system of three microphones, the Ambient sound function and the design is traditional. Overall, the new model looks like an expected member of the Galaxy Buds family of headphones, bringing several improvements to the table where it was needed.
Samsung is adding three sizes of earbuds to the Galaxy Buds2, so that probably everyone can choose the ideal size. The test in the Galaxy Wearable application will also help you choose the right size. Connectivity is taken care of by Bluetooth 5.2 and there is also traditional support for gesture control.

To PC and to smartphone
Through the Galaxy Buds application for computers, it will be possible to pair the headphones in a simple way, but more importantly, it will be possible to adjust the individual settings of the headphones here. From the equalizer to the noise suppression level configuration.
Owners will therefore not have to rely only on their smartphone and the use of headphones in combination with a computer will be a bit more practical. There is also support for the Auto switch function for convenient switching between paired Galaxy devices.

The battery in each handset has a capacity of 61 mAh, the charging case 472 mAh. According to available information, endurance should be around 5 hours when using Active Noise Canceling (ANC). Disabling this option will extend it to almost 8 hours. The charging case contains the power supply for another 15 hours of use with ANC or 22 hours without. Already 5 minutes of charging should give the headphones enough “juice” for 55 minutes of playback.
Price and availability
The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 headphones will be available in four colors. They will go on sale in Europe from August 27 and their price starts at € 149.
For those who like style, Samsung has prepared a wide range of multi-colored charging boxes in cooperation with partners. From simple color combinations to really eccentricities like a charging box in the style of the Simpsons or a folding mobile phone.

Competition
Sony WF-1000XM3
Sony WF-1000XM3 are a strong competitor for every quality Bluetooth headset. They boast great active noise cancellation and rich packaging. They also offer above-standard endurance. Disadvantages include a larger charging box. These headphones have been on the market for some time, and the current price is around 180 euros. Definitely worth considering.

Apple AirPods Pro
Favorite headphones that have a lot to offer. The equipment does not lack active noise reduction and they get along well with Apple smartphones. They will also work with Android. Their price in verified e-shops is around 250 euros.
