Samsung Galaxy A73 shows up in new images
Images of the Samsung Galaxy A73 have surfaced. The successor to the Galaxy A72 will most likely have a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel, a 64 MP main camera and will run on the Snapdragon 778G processor. The leak also reports less impressive specifications than previously thought.
Different specifications than before leak
91mobiles today published press images of the Samsung Galaxy A73. The website reports that the published images could be the first official representation of the Galaxy A73. And what is striking about the specifications in the images is that they are less interesting in a number of ways than previously leaked images from OnLeaks. According to OnLeaks information at the time, Samsung would exchange the 64 MP main camera for a 108 MP variant. This does not seem to be the case in these images.
On the other hand, according to the latest rumors, the Galaxy A73 will have a faster processor than previously thought, a Snapdragon 778G chipset compared to the previously thought 750G chip.
Other specifications
Unlike its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy A73 has 5G at its disposal. In addition, the device will have a 6.7-inch Full HD + AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. If we look further at the back of the device, we see four cameras here. 91mobiles reports that this will be a 64MP main camera, a 12MP wide-angle lens, 5MP macro camera and a 5MP depth camera. The latter will be striking, since the Galaxy A72 still had a (much more meaningful) 8MP telephoto lens.
The battery of the Galaxy A73 has a capacity of 5000 mAh and can be charged with a speed of 25 watts. The Galaxy A73 is expected to come on the market with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. In terms of storage capacity, you can choose from a 128 GB and a 256 GB model. Nothing is known about the price yet, but we expect a price around 450 euros. The Galaxy A73, along with other new A-series smartphones, may be unveiled later this month.
