Samsung Galaxy A52 gets update to Android 12 with One UI 4

A new update is being rolled out to the Samsung Galaxy A52. The manufacturer has prepared the update for this device to Android 12, along with a series of improvements. Think of a new security patch and of course One UI 4.

Android 12 for Galaxy A12

Samsung is busy updating various devices to Android 12. This is also the case with the A series. For example, the update to the latest Android version already appeared for the Galaxy A72 and a lot of devices from the S series. Now it’s the turn of the next device; the Samsung Galaxy A52.

Samsung has now prepared the update in the Netherlands and Belgium and also brings the One UI 4 skin, several readers have told DroidApp. In addition, there is also a January 2022 security update, which does not only bring the improvements from Google, but also the patches from Samsung. Thanks to the new Android version with the new skin, a lot of new functions and improvements are made.

New with this update

New is, for example, the Color Palette mode, where the colors from the interface colors are adapted to the colors of the background. There are also extensions for the Always On Display and there is the privacy dashboard where you get more say about your privacy. For example, icons are shown in the status bar when the microphone or camera is used by an app. You can also set that an application can, for example, not request your exact location, but an estimate of the location. With Android 12 on the Samsung Galaxy A52, the brightness of the display can also be further reduced and there are several other improvements.

The update is now being rolled out for the Samsung Galaxy A52, with the 5G model being the first to turn.
