Samsung Galaxy A32 is the cheapest 5G model from the manufacturer

5G was undoubtedly the topic of last year. This year, smartphones with 5G support will be much more important. Slovak operators are already being taken over and in some Slovakia we already have a 5G connection. Samsung does not want to lag behind in this segment and realizes that it is necessary to have cheap 5G smartphones as well. And so he introduced the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G, which is the cheapest 5G smartphone from the South Korean manufacturer.

Samsung Galaxy A32 5G: HD display and 5000 mAh battery

The novelty was introduced for the German market, informed the Android Community portal. We expect it to reach us soon. The smartphone is equipped with a large 6.5 ″ IPS display, but only with HD + resolution. The manufacturer has not yet mentioned the processor used, it is probably the MediaTek Dimensity 720 5G, which is produced by a modern 7 nm production process.

What will surely please you is the battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which in combination with an economical processor and a lower resolution display will ensure very good endurance. The maximum charging power is 15 W, so we calculate that charging from 0 to 100% will take longer than two hours.

Quad camera and plenty of memory

64 or 128 GB internal storage is expandable with microSD memory cards. The size of the operating memory is from 4 to 8 GB depending on the version. The smartphone will be sold in four color versions – white, black, purple and blue.

The camera on the back consists of four sensors. The main one is a 48-megapixel lens, which is complemented by an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a two-megapixel lens for background blur and a 5M macro sensor. Again, the latter two are practically useless. In front of the display area there is a selfie camera with a resolution of 13 megapixels.

The novelty will go on sale in Germany February 12. Prices start at 279 € for the variant with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage.

Competition

The closest competition to the new Samsung will be cheap 5G models. For a similar price, Motorola moto g 5G starts selling with the same size battery and FullHD + display, 20 W charging, but without an ultra-wide-angle lens and with the older Android 10.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G will offer a higher resolution display, cameras of similar quality, a weaker battery with a capacity of 4160 mAh and an older Android 10 operating system for a similar price.
