It looks like the Galaxy A32 5G isn’t going to remain Samsung’s cheapest 5G phone for long. GalaxyClub now states that a cheaper Galaxy A22 is on the way that will also work with 5G. At the end of last year, a South Korean news site released the first information about the device, but then it seemed that the smartphone is only intended for the Asian market. Now it appears from rumors that the phone is still coming to Europe.

For now, information about the cheap 5G phone is still scarce, and that’s because the Galaxy A22 would be a so-called ODM device. That stands for ‘Original Design Manufacturer’ and it’s basically one that another smartphone maker is building on behalf of Samsung. We only know about the Galaxy A22 that it comes in two storage variants and the colors have already been leaked. It appears in: gray, white, light green and purple. The phone will be given the model name: ‘SM-A226B’
