Problems with the proximity sensor? Fill in the questionnaire

Xiaomi has finally decided to solve the problem with the proximity sensor, which has plagued users since the Redmi Note 9 series. The Chinese manufacturer has launched a questionnaire for users of selected devices, through which they can report the problem, informs PiunikaWeb.

The problem has affected almost every recently released device, including the Redmi Note 10 Pro, Poco F3 and Poco X3 Pro. During testing of the Redmi Note 10 Pro, we also noticed minor problems with the sensor.

Affected users claim that the device’s display turns off even if it shouldn’t, for example during ongoing WhatsApp calls or listening to audio notes. On the contrary, in some cases, when it should be switched off, it does not do so, for example during a call.

Completing the questionnaire will help speed up the problem-solving process

Xiaomi has publicly confirmed that she is aware of the issue, but has not yet released an update to address it. However, the company has now published a questionnaire in an effort to obtain more information about the problem.

The questionnaire is intended for owners of the following devices:

  • Mi 10T
  • Mi 10T Pro
  • Mi 10T Lite
  • Mi 10i
  • Mi Note 10 Lite
  • Redmi Note 10
  • Redmi Note 10 Pro
  • Redmi Note 10 Pro Max
