Prime Video will be renamed Amazon TV
Amazon is going to rename its streaming service. The name Prime Video is rumored to make way for Amazon TV.
Prime Video becomes Amazon TV
Amazon may change the name of its streaming service to Amazon TV. This would appear from a survey that Amazon distributed to a small group of customers. The website OnlyTech has obtained a copy of the survey. Amazon shares the Amazon TV logo and then asks participants what they think of the new name. The company also lists other names they’re considering: Amazon Stream, Amazon+, Amazon Streaming, and Amazon Premiere.
Amazon has not yet announced an official name change. It is not known when this will take place and what the final choice will fall on. It was recently announced that Warner Bros. will merge two major streaming services, namely HBO Max and Discovery +, under the new name ‘Max’.
