It’s the end of an era: After 31 years, Wolfram Kons disappears from the RTL scene – at least in the morning. The cult moderator is giving up his job at “Guten Morgen Deutschland” and devoting himself to other tasks. For RTL, this is the prelude to major changes in the morning program.

Wolfram Kons leaves the RTL morning program

It makes me proud that we are now expanding this commitment further,” said Kons. “I am deeply grateful for more than 30 fulfilling and exciting years with an amazing team of early risers. I am now really looking forward to the new, expanded tasks and, to be honest, also to being able to sleep a little longer.”

However, viewers do not have to do without Kons entirely. In addition to moderating the annual RTL donation marathon, which will apparently continue to be in his hands, Kons should also continue to moderate the program “Inside Art” on ntv.
