Popular game Warcraft coming to mobile this year
The well-known Blizzard game Warcraft will be released on mobile this year. Not to be confused with World of Warcraft: this is the real-time strategy game. This finally puts a positive end to the rumors that have been circulating since 2017 about a potential Warcraft mobile.

The game is yet to be released this year, Blizzard said in its quarterly earnings report: “Substantial new content is coming to the Warcraft franchise in 2022, including new experiences for World of Warcraft and Hearthstone and brand new Warcraft mobile content coming to gamers for the first time. comes.”
For now, however, it remains here, because the game company makes no further statements about what Warcraft Mobile entails. There are rumors circulating that it would be an augmented reality game in the style of Pokémon GO. This means that you see the real world with the camera of your smartphone, on which the game then shows creatures and objects.

Would Orcs suddenly walk on the bike path? Blizzard has so far only said that there were “advanced developments” in August 2021, so whether those developments have anything to do with augmented reality is unknown. In any case, Warcraft is not alone: Blizzard is also releasing Diablo: Immortal on the smartphone this year. However, that is already in the second half of this year.
In short, in addition to Warcraft, the company, which was recently acquired by Microsoft for a record amount, has announced that it is coming with a lot of new content for World of Warcraft and Hearthstone, which is also good news for fans of the fantasy world of Warcraft. Hearthstone is one of the most popular mobile games based on an existing title and has been played at a high level for many years.
