Plant and grow sugar cane (LS 22)
Sugar cane takes the longest time to grow, but it also has two immense advantages. On the one hand, it cannot rot and, on the other hand, sugar cane grows again after the harvest.
When sowing sugar cane, you have to use special seed drills. You need so-called Billet planters such as the Gessner Single Row Billet Planter. You fill this machine with purchased pallets of sugar cane from the dealer when you first add it. After your first harvest, you can then use the harvested sugar cane stalks to sow further fields.
You can load the sugar cane pallets or straws into the billet planter with a tipper or a wheel / telescopic loader including a shovel.

You also need certain machines for sugar cane harvesting. There are special sugar cane harvesters available from dealers for this purpose. These remove the leaves and cut the cane into more compact pieces.
Like the forage harvesters for chaff, sugar cane harvesters do not have their own tank. So you have to have a tractor with a tipper drive along to catch the sugar cane. Here, too, there are special sugar cane tippers with a high tipping height so that you can load the stalks directly into a truck trailer. Then use AI helpers, for example, to transport the harvest away.

Store, sell & bring sugar cane to the sugar factory
Sugar cane cannot be stored in silos. You can simply unload it at any point and store it temporarily. Since sugar cane doesn’t rot, you don’t have to worry about this. Alternatively, you can sell it directly on the card at points of sale.
In addition, the cane stalks can be delivered to a sugar factory for further processing. You can place such factories in the construction mode. If you don’t have the euros for it, you can also use the money cheat in LS 22.
