Pixels suffer from the most serious problem of all the problems so far

No phone is perfect and error free. This seems to be even more true for the Pixel 6 series from Google. The most recently discovered and most serious problem that plagues Pixels is the cracking glass on the display. Photos of users reporting spontaneous cracks on the screen have appeared on the Internet. The report is provided by the AndroidPolice portal.

Pixels burst spontaneously – is it temperature changes or a manufacturing error?

Some reports are several months old. It is clear that the Google Pixel 6 Pro with its curved screen is more sensitive, but the problems also concern the cheaper Google Pixel 6. It has a flat screen. Both models are equipped with Gorilla Glass Victus, which is a protective glass that is considered the hardest on the market. However, glass is still just glass and it can break.

We see this in these examples, and some have not even been helped by the protective case. Cracks most often go from the corners, but in some cases they just go from the sides. Spontaneous cracks are most often caused by a manufacturing error when pressure builds up in the glass, which the glass cannot maintain. Drastic temperature changes can also be to blame.

However, it is more likely that a smaller number of devices that contain a manufacturing error have leaked to the world. Apparently they were not sufficiently checked or did not pass the exit check. This is not a problem that should affect every single device. The few unfortunates who have been affected are probably only a small percentage.

Google has not yet explained the error

He did not admit whether it was a mistake in the production process, output control or customers were to blame because XYZ. For now, however, it looks like a last resort. Google reportedly said to one customer, “Screens don’t just crack,” he said. So apparently Google is not willing to replace these devices or admit a mistake. Insurance from operators does not help either – they mention that they will replace the device in its entirety, but for an additional fee.

However, according to other reports, Google has already begun to investigate the causes, so we hope that they will shed some light on the problem. In the best case, perhaps spare parts for free, if it is confirmed that this is a manufacturing error. However, with so many messages, it no longer looks like a bug on the part of users.

The second attempt didn’t work either. Samsung suspends the upgrade to Android 12 and One UI 4
