Performance, output, price… All about the 4 new Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Series
Following the success of the Redmi Note 11 series, on the European continent, the brand has decided to continue its deployment of models on the Redmi Note range. For this 12ᵉ batch, we are promised better performance, a high-end camera, all while maintaining the best possible quality/price ratio.

What performance for the announced models?
As said before, Xiaomi announces 4 models within the Redmi Note 12 series. We thus find the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, the Redmi Note 12 5G and the Redmi Note 12.
Well, you guessed it, with its extended name, the flagship model of the range is the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G. Equipped with a 200 Mpx photo module integrating an OIS functionality, optical image stabilization, it thus seems to leave with a sensor rivaling most models on the market.
The Note 12 and Note 12 5G models are equipped with Snapdragon chips (685 and 4 Gen 1 respectively), further strengthening the processor manufacturer’s hold on the market. The other two are equipped with SoC MediaTek Dimensity 1080 engraved in 6 nm.
The Redmi Note 12 series will feature 6.67-inch (17cm) 120Hz AMOLED displays and are advertised as being AI-boosted for a number of tasks, including photography. The models in the range are announced to be equipped with long-lasting 5,000 mAh batteries. The first two are compatible with the 33 Watt load, the Note 12 Pro offers 67W while we will be entitled to 120W on the Note 12 Pro +.
Still an attractive price
To accompany the launch of this range, Xiaomi also communicates on its favorite argument: the price. Because yes, if for several years, the models of the range have become really efficient, the pricing is maintained at the bottom of the market price range. For the Redmi Note 12 series, the brand therefore announces an attractive price list:
- The Redmi Note 12 is available from €199.90 (at Rakuten in 128 GB version for 239 € + a voucher of 11.95 €)
- The Redmi Note 12 5G is available at €299.99 (at Rakuten at €274.92 + a voucher of €13.75)
- The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G is available from €399.99 (at Rakuten at €346 + a voucher of €17.30)
- The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G is available at €469.99 (at Rakuten at €448.36 + a voucher of €22.41)
So here is a range of smartphones with attractive performance, at less than 500 €, which is arriving on the European market. We’re not going to lie to each other, this is an announcement that caught our interest!
