If you are also interested in the other offers for Amazon Prime customers, a Prime account is worthwhile for just a few Amazon orders. But given the average shipping costs of 3.99 euros and free shipping above a minimum order value, you have to buy a lot of small parts before it pays off.

The shipping costs at Amazon are not uniform. There is an order value limit of 29 euros – above that, packages should be free of charge from Amazon. However, this does not apply, for example, to “articles not approved for minors” such as computer games and films from the age of 18 or e-cigarettes. Even Prime customers have to pay for it.

You can also have Amazon shipments with dimensions of up to 42 cm x 35 cm x 32 cm and a weight of up to 4.5 kg sent to “Amazon Locker lockers” free of charge. In that case There is no postage even if you are not a Prime member. So check if you have Amazon Locker near you.
