OnePlus Nord 2 comes in a special Pac-Man edition
OnePlus is working on a special edition of its mid-range smartphone; the OnePlus Nord 2. The fine phone from the manufacturer comes as a special Pac-Man Edition, according to new details. What does that mean, and what can you do with it?
Pac-Man edition of Nord 2
It is expected that OnePlus will soon announce a special Pac-Man edition of the OnePlus Nord 2. This smartphone was previously received very positively in our OnePlus Nord 2 review. In the code of various OnePlus apps, indications have been found that the company is working on a special Pac-Man Edition, which will actually be announced in due course.
There are references to Pac-Man on the Nord 2 scattered throughout the interface. For example, we see ‘The yellow grab’ in the animation of the fingerprint scanner. In addition, we see the familiar eyes in the lock screen and the influence of Pac-Man can also be found in the settings menu. OnePlus also seems to have included references in the code to Pac-Man adjustments in the wireless charging and the Always On Display clock. In the gallery app, a special Pac-Man sticker could even be unlocked if the device has been on the charger for at least 256 minutes.
It is currently unknown whether the Pac-Man edition of the OnePlus Nord 2 will also come to the Netherlands. In the past, the manufacturer has released the McLaren editions in the Netherlands, but several other model versions have not.
