OnePlus 10 Pro will be announced in January

The OnePlus 10 Pro is coming, according to the many rumors about this new flagship from OnePlus. We assumed that this device, like the OnePlus 9 series, would be announced in March, but that turns out to be two months earlier.

OnePlus 10 Pro launch

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau posted a message on Weibo today using the hashtag OnePlus 10 Pro and “See you in January”. The official OnePlus account on Weibo also shared the CEO’s message, adding that the device will be “coming soon”. So we can count on the launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro in January.

That’s a lot earlier than the previous top models from OnePlus. In comparison: the OnePlus 9 series was launched on March 23, the OnePlus 8 series was launched on April 14 and the OnePlus 7 series was unveiled on May 14. OnePlus may already opt for the official announcement during CES in Las Vegas. Samsung would also plan that with its Galaxy S21 FE.
