OnePlus 10 Pro is official and we come second

For the first time in years, we Europeans come second with the launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro.

Normally, a flagship of OnePlus was launched in several places in the world at the same time. At most, the market in North America got the newest phone a little later. But with the new OnePlus 10 Pro it is completely different. Home country China will be preferred with the launch and Europe will follow later. How later is not yet known.

OnePlus 10 Pro

The new OnePlus 10 Pro is equipped with a Qualcomm 8 Gen 1 processor, the second generation Hasselblad camera and no less than 80W wired fast charging. Wireless charging is also very fast with 50W. If we have to quickly mention a disadvantage, it is the increased weight. The 10 Pro for the Chinese market weighs 201 grams. That’s pretty hefty. But in the past we have seen more often OnePlus phones weighing more than 205 grams. The OLED screen has a size of 6.7-inch.

Behind is a camera island, consisting of a 48 MP + 50 MP + 8 MP setup. The lenses come from Sony, with a tweak from Hasselblad. It is the second time that OnePlus has collaborated with this party. They did that before with the 9 Series.

In China, OnePlus is launching the 10 Pro with ColorOS 12.1. Here in Europe we will soon get a 10 Pro with OxygenOS 12. The launch is on January 13 in China. Only later this year will the latest OnePlus appear in other markets, including Europe.
