Fast, faster, OnePlus 10 Pro: The upcoming top smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer should be able to charge noticeably faster than its predecessor. A comparison with the competition shows how fast this really is.

OnePlus: The company behind the

In the past few years, fast charging technology in smartphones has made an enormous leap forward. Chinese manufacturers in particular set new records every year. The OnePlus 10 Pro could take a particularly long leap forward in 2022.

OnePlus 10 Pro should be able to be recharged quickly with 120 watts

The smartphone should be recharged with 125 watts, reports a cell phone insider on Twitter. Compared to its predecessor, this would almost double the loading speed. For comparison: The OnePlus 9 Pro could be recharged with a cable with 65 watts. The OnePlus 10 Pro would be fully charged within a few minutes.

However, this high loading speed is likely only with OnePlus’ own power plug to be possible. In contrast to Apple, Samsung and Co., OnePlus has included a power plug in the scope of delivery, at least so far, so that buyers do not incur any additional costs if they want to use the full buckle charging potential. That should also be a reason for OnePlus’ success in Europe.

OnePlus could market a fast charge with 125 watts as part of a new “warp charge” generation.

Fast charging pioneer Xiaomi beaten

The comparison with the competition shows that the OnePlus 10 Pro with 125 watt fast charging would outperform many current and probably future flagship smartphones of the competition. For example, the iPhone 13 Pro can only be quickly recharged with a maximum of 23 watts – the OnePlus 10 Pro would be more than five times faster with 125 watts. According to recent rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra could not even begin to keep up with the OnePlus 10 Pro with its rumored 45 watt fast charging.

Even fast-charging pioneer Xiaomi would be overtaken by a hair’s breadth with 125 watts to 120 watts.
