OneDrive back after crash

The start of 2023 and the week got off to a bad start for OneDrive, with Microsoft’s online storage service experiencing an outage for a few hours.

During the outage, OneDrive users couldn’t open Microsoft’s cloud storage on the web or sync their stuff in mobile and desktop apps. An attempt to load OneDrive in a browser resulted in a message ” An error has occurred “ and an empty file list. Microsoft indicated that he “examines service monitoring telemetry to isolate the root cause and develop a remediation plan.”

Microsoft then identified the problem. “We have completed applying our fix to the affected infrastructure, and have confirmed, after an extended monitoring period, that the impact is resolved”.

There are also (still ongoing) issues with Skype, but this is not a complete breakdown of the service. Some users cannot spend, transfer or purchase Skype Credit/subscriptions. The service also does not allow you to view or modify the most recent purchases, such as credits or calling cards. Additionally, some Microsoft 365 subscribers are not receiving their 60 minutes of Skype Calling Credits.
