One of the best Netflix series is getting a new season
Better than Stranger Things, Squid Game and Sex Education, the underrated comedy series I Think You Should Leave is one of the best Netflix series out there, according to Rotten Tomatoes. Now the insider tip gets a new season.
In the content jungle of Netflix, it can happen that some series are overlooked by the mainstream audience despite their high quality. Even a great comedy series is still considered an insider tip for the streaming service the quirky sketch series I Think You Should Leave a fantastic rating on Rotten Tomatoes – and season 3 is just around the corner.
I Think You Should Leave: Netflix highlight gets a new season
The series I Think You Should Leave is a sketch comedy that with its absurdly funny humor and the silly to painful escalations reminiscent of role models like Monty Python. The characters of series creator Tim Robinson, who worked for the US comedy institution Saturday Night Live for years, find themselves in both everyday and bizarre situations, which they always hit the wall in spectacular ways.

From an embarrassing hot-dog accident during a meeting to an unplanned audition by a country band to a long-running act of revenge on a plane, I Think You Should Leave delivers quirky staccato punchlines and makes for plenty laughs. The series is also well received by critics – so far it stands the Netflix production has an impressive 98 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. This makes it one of the best-rated series on the streaming service and even scores better than well-known series hits such as Stranger Things, BoJack Horseman or Squid Game.
